"Prometheus" Hype is Rising

We won't know until it is actually screened and seen, but one of the most anticipated films for this summer is Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus'. The director of 'Blade Runner', 'Gladiator' and of course, "Alien' is apparently looking to augment his reputation with the following featurette.

The featurette is skillfully designed not to offer too much, to strengthen our perception that Mr. Scott is a genius and to have actors repeat a similar mantra through out. Hopefully, and I do mean hopefully, this won't blow up in his face which would happen if the film is a dog or falls into the 'John Carter' abyss.

No matter, by the time the film actually opens we will continue to see a ramping up of the hype. But that's what Hollywood has to do. To have a successful film the word has to be out there so pervasively that the barely aware, become aware. Then their zombified brains realize that this is important, even though it isn't and send its gross into the stratosphere.

BTW: if a zombie eats brains, and then has flatulence, is that a brain fart?
